Possible beginning of my career as a blogger

So I don't normally blog. However, I currently find myself unemployed after separating from the military and I suppose that this can be a somewhat constructive way to spend 30 minutes out of a day. H normally blogs...which I tend to read whenever I catch a new posting. Anyway, H has been doing a money diary blog...I guess that's as good a way as any for me to get started in the blogging business. We'll see what else comes out of it.

I DIDN'T ORDER THIS MUCH SAND

Well so far Kuwait has been a decent transition between home and Iraq. I think I'm acclimated to the dry heat now...There's not really much humidity but the sun does a number on the skin. I will say this though...I have never ever encountered this much sand before. Sand all over the place...and it gets everywhere. Lets just say I won't be going to the beach any time soon. Luckily where I'm going in Iraq shouldn't be this sandy.

That's about all for now. I'll be leaving here soon and I'm beginning to get a little anxious about my upcoming mission. Not nervous, but anxious--should be interesting. Keep me and my boys in your thoughts and prayers. We'll need it.
